Nagel Power Systems B.V.,located in Nijmegen, in the Netherlands, Europe, is a daughter-company of Louis Nagel B.V., which was set up in 1873. Agriculural machines and products have formed the basis for this company since the very beginning.
In 1958 Louis Nagel BV took an important step in the Agricultural Sector by becoming the Importer for John Deere. This gave Louis Nagel B.V. the opportunity to become a leading player in the Dutch market.
Early in the 1990's Louis Nagel also obtained the Importer's rights for John Deere Engines. These rights extended to the entire Benelux. The persistent successful sales-figures, the increasing confidence in the maritime and industrial sector, and the acquisition of the European rights for Kilo-Pak generator-units used for the construction of luxury Super and Mega-Yachts in 2007, led to the decision to convert the engines department into an independant company:

Nagel Power Systems B.V., gevestigd te Nijmegen, is een 100% dochteronderneming van Louis Nagel B.V. welke werd opgericht in 1873 en waarin de landbouwsector van oudsher de basis vormde.
In 1958 is hierin een belangrijke stap voorwaarts gezet, toen Louis Nagel B.V. het importeurschap van John Deere verkreeg. Hiermee heeft Louis Nagel B.V. een toonaangevende positie op de Nederlandse markt kunnen verwerven.
Begin jaren '90 verkregen wij het importeurschap van John Deere Motoren voor de Benelux. De aanhoudende succesvolle verkoopcijfers, het opgebouwde vertrouwen in de maritieme en industriële sector naast de Europese acquisitie van Kilo-Pak generatorsets voor de luxe Super- en Megajachtenbouw in 2007 deden ons besluiten om de motorenafdeling te verzelfstandigen in:
